Oud: India’s Liquid Gold
Few materials in perfumery inspire the reverence of oud. Formed when agarwood trees respond to a particular mould, oud is rare, slow to develop, and astonishingly complex — smoky, animalic, sweet and resinous all at once.
At TIFCO we source our oud from Assam, where the tradition of distillation stretches back centuries. A single tola can take weeks to distil, which is why genuine oud commands the price it does.
In Oudh Noir and Saffron Oud, we treat it the way it deserves — not as a gimmick, but as the heart of the composition.
